During the following academic year, while the building on McElderry Road was being constructed, classes were accommodated at four host schools including Mary Phelan, St. Paul, Holy Rosary and St. Patrick.

Planning at St. Michael Catholic School involves everyone on staff, the members of the CSC and the support of our parent community. The School Planning Team is comprised of the principal, vice principal, the chairs of each division (primary, junior, intermediate, French) our librarian, our special education resource teachers and our pastoral team chair. The Planning Team makes decisions which affect the whole school and ensures all key players have an opportunity to express their opinions, based on discussions at divisional team meetings.
