In recognition of Treaties Recognition Week, Grade 7 students had the opportunity to explore the history of treaties on Canada.
Students visited the Catholic Education Centre throughout the week to engage with a giant land map, reflecting on their responsibly as treaty people and recognizing the importance of treaties in our communities. This important learning will continue throughout the year as students deepen their understanding of treaty relationships and their ongoing significance.
